What a Treat!

"I have to say I was a bit Surprised considering it was a "deli". The name is deceiving. The food is out of this world & the server Brittany was more than attentive. She took a sincere interest in getting to know our Cassie. I had peach pancakes, which was picked fresh from the Owner's tree & Cassie had the Puppy Chow. To top it off Brittany brought out a piece of cake for Cassie's final treat! I'm definitely going to be a regular. "

Fantastic!

"We eat breakfast here every Sunday during the summer, Mark, Ryan, Brittany and their staff are very dog friendly and we and our friends sit outside enjoy a leisurely brunch accompanied by our pouches! There is a freshly cooked "dog" menu, served with bowls of water and lots of love! As humans, the choice of food is amazing, from simple eggs and bacon to the best smoked/cured salmon, pancakes, French toast, fruit platters......The best place for breakfast in Morristown!"

Great breakfasts on Sunday!

"This is Morristown's shrine to NYC Deli cuisine. Though I like to come here for lunch when I need pastrami and a knish, this is my after church place for smoked fish and bagels. The Gaspe salmon is always great. When the smoked sturgeon is available, it is outstanding. Try the kippered salmon and herring roll-ups also. This place gets noisy and crowded on weekends. Come early and enjoy or just enjoy and don't kvetch because I warned you."

“Great NY style deli sandwiches in Jersey”

"We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Morristown, NJ. The first time was for a late lunch on a weekday. The owner/managers were really friendly and pleasant as was our server. We ordered the oversized deli sandwiches and they did not disappoint! Loaded with deli meat with a side of chips & served with a pickle. The corned beef was nicely seasoned on unseeded rye (the only rye bread that they serve) and was so large that i took half the sandwich back to the hotel for dinner although my husband did finish."

 

Best Place in town!

"Morristown Deli is the best in town! What a great place with down home cooking, friendly servers, and never a place to hurry you along. I have had many a meeting, both business and friendly, there and parking is available. Great bagels and take out orders are available. Closed on Monday."
